Example of the Mobile beer project

Mobile Beer

The Mobile Beer Company sell great beer from a classic van.

Simon over at the Mobile Beer Company needed a website that showcased his unique small business. Working with a fantastic designer, we produced a design that helps to encapsulate the brand.

Wag 'n' bone

Wag 'n' bone offer a one-to-one dog walking service and sell pet products.

The folks at Wag 'n' bone needed an affordable website to help raise awareness of their services and introduce their shop.

Example of Prodigal son project

Prodigal Son

Colin and the film crew recently wrapped the short film 'Prodigal Son', shot in Ireland.

They needed a website to promote the film and provide all of the 'extras' that people come to expect surrounding films.

We worked together to produce a site that resembles the style of the film and could be easily updated by the team.

When the time came to build a website for our short film, Prodigal Son, I wanted a design as bold as the movie itself. Within a couple of days of speaking to Zak, he had conceptualized a site based on the strong black and white lines used in our production company logo. It felt unique and left of field. I loved it.

Allied to his great knowledge of graphic design, Zak has a strong background in communication, online and off. This combination ensured that his design work -- as good as it was -- didn't take precedence over the site's ultimate purpose: to communicate. Therefore Zak ensured that the site was easy to navigate and intuitive.

I found Zak very personable to work with. He patiently tweaked his work when we had feedback and he answered all of our questions in a thorough, understandable way.

Zak not only proved strong on site design, but also with site development. After building our website, he provided excellent technical support to help us maintain it.

I would strongly recommend Zak to other filmmakers looking to build the perfect online showcase for their movie.

Example of Dave Kilbey project

Dave Kilbey Photography

Dave Kilbey is a great wildlife photographer. Together we knocked out this project that showcases just some of the 100,000 photos he has taken.

Dave was keen to maintain all aspects of the site himself and in addition to working on the initial site Dave now manages the content management system and builds new parts himself.

About tribehut

Tribehut is a web design business founded by me, Zak Mensah.

Over the years Tribehut has successfully delivered 155 projects for individuals, charities, education establishments and small businesses.

Tribehuts core business is to produce websites. This means working with you to identity how a website can help your business goals and then produce a suitably great website.

Projects take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to complete and prices start from £400 and rise with the scope of the project.

You are the expert within your business field, so I listen carefully to your needs and then apply my expertise to making it work well on the web to meet the business need.

Why are you called tribehut?

My immediate family is quite large and as Dad is from Ghana in West Africa folk used to call us the tribe.

Every tribe has a home, or a hut if you take a look at Africa in films from the 90's, ta'da the name tribehut was born and has stuck ever since.
